CHAMMP Inducted New Officers for 2017

DTI Usec Teodoro Pascua inducts the new officers of CHAMMP for 2017
CHAMMP, or the Chamber of Assemblers and Manufacturers of Motorcycle in the Philippines, just inducted in the newly elected officers for the coming season, which will be headed by incoming president Mr. Anthony Chua of Sinski Motorcycle Phils., Inc.

Before swearing in, guest of honor undersecretary Teodoro Pascua of Dept of Trade and Industries, left a challenge for the new officers: to think of ways of how this current generation can generate innovation with regards to their involvement in the industry, specifically the motorcycle industry.

"Imagine what we could achieve if our generation of 25 year olds could think like 50 year olds. They could run a company, maintain sustainability, and find innovations. I'd rather have many of these, than one or two Steve Jobs."

Before Mr. Edwin Go led the ceremonial toast, he gave an update of what's the score on the registration process. It is still a no registration no travel policy. But on the other hand, a good news on reducing the bureaucratic process, from more than a dozen to just four, which is a huge improvement.

The night was capped with raffle courtesy of the manufacturers which they gave 3 household appliances and a grand prize of, as they said earlier they wouldn't be able to bring to the room because of its size, a motorcycle courtesy of Sinski Motorcycle Phils., Inc. CPI Aragon 125.

Mr. Anthony Chua, the incoming president addresses the crowd of his intentions for the CHAMMP.

Mr. Edwin Go  announces the enforcement of RA 4136, or the no registration no travel law.  A blow to the dealers and manufacturers, but announces also a good news of trimming down the number of processes of registration.

Lucky guy brings home one CPI Aragon 125cc scooter as he wins the grand prize of the night.   Motorcycle couldn't be brought up so he has to get it downstairs.
