For as long as I can remember, Dumaguete was the motorcycle capital of the Philippines. Rightly so, it was estimated that there are at least 2 motorcycles per household. And I've seen it for myself, everyone's on a motorcycle in Dumaguete, students, nurses, policemen, everyday folks!
Recently, Caloocan just announced that they will be the one who is the official motorcycle capital of the country. This I'm guessing the shear volume of motorcycles and the motorcycles shops especially the 10th Avenue, the mecca of motorcycle riders.
Well, whoever the motorcycle capital is and will always be up for debate. For now, we riders are the clear winners. We now have more literal venue to celebrate motorcycling and riding.
