The Honda CRF250L is probably the best dual-sports bikes in the world! But I only put the word "probably" to those who just haven't tasted the power of this bike. Considering all other aspects (price, power, wow factor), this is a VERY fine bike.
As a motorcycle nut, I can say with conviction, the Honda CRF is a good touring bike, an everyday bike, a powerful race bike, a powerful trail bike, a good Sunday bike, and eye-catching show bike.
As a touring bike:
I've toured Tagaytay, and i't an ok touring bike. Considering Metro Manila, and the country's notorious bad road condition, the CRF is perfect for brainless riding.

I am using it everyday. Fuel consumption is a tad high than I'm accustomed to, then again, the CRF250L has 250cc of yummy displacement and i get immediate response and power at the slight twist of the throttle.

Going up against higher displacement bikes, Mel Aquino blazed the Marifanta roads, 30 kilomteres into the finish line. He got good finish time and we're expecting a podium in the awarding ceremonies.

When we went to Sta. Ynes, Mel Aqunio used and abused the CRF250L. He wheelied down streams, made donuts through the mud, and just ripped the off roads. It was so easy.

I often find people peeking at the parked CRF. I often got into friendly chats with strangers, asking me all about the bike, which I'm just so glad to obliged. Others are just amazed at the immaculate presentation of white and red, making it a showbike any time of the day, any day of the week, as long as its sparkly clean.
