"Revving Towards the Dream" is this year's MBF GP tagline, which is a reflection of the coming into fruition Maico's hope about racing. Maico Buncio, once hailed as the fastest man on two wheels, in the country at least had his life taken away too soon in a freak accident in the race track, many years ago.
Today, Maico's dream lives on, through the activities of the Maico Buncio Foundation which aims to grow the racing industry into bloom, through searches for fast upcoming racers, race activities and promotion of the sport into the mainstream.
I've had the honor once, of meeting the great one himself, when he was still technically a kid, and I was just starting out in the media industry. Maico was such a cool, composed, and a good kid. It's a great lost, not only to his family and friends, but to the racing industry and to the country and he could've have been the next world contender competing againsts the fastest guys in the universe.
The MBF is organized by the Moto360 and is set to have 3 legs in which the first leg will be in Carmona Racing Circuit on August 2, 2015.
So, if you have nothing better to do on that Sunday, come on let's go watch the races!

It was such a shame I wasn't able to come due to a family's medical emegency. I was told that it was a great success with the number of spectators and the race participants present in the event. If Maico could see that, he'd be happy with the way the racing industry is continually developing.
