Go Team Suzuki Pilipinas: Sendoff Presscon at F1 Hotel

Following the positive results of the Official Test in Sepang, Malaysia, Team Suzuki Pilipinas is all ready for the Round 1 of the Suzuki Asian Challenge at the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) set to happen this weekend – April 17 to 19. 

Mario Borbon, April King Mascardo and Enzo Rellosa are the Philippine's representatives in the coming ARRC battling against 9 other ASEAN countries.  Bring home the bacon boys!
The team consists of National Road Race Championship 115 Super Stock Category Overall Champion - Enzo Rellosa, Triple Champion feat holder in the final round of RUGP Cebu in Expert 130 UB, Expert Open UB and Expert AT Open - Mario Borbon and Suzuki Philippine Challenge Raider R150 One Make Race Qualifying Champion – April King Mascardo, showcased an impressive performance at the test event, clocking in 1min 30s held at the grand track of Sepang International Circuit.

The nation’s delegation to the highly anticipated competition in the region will leave for Malaysia today for the first round of the 5-leg series. The team will be seen competing with other 14 Suzuki racers from Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.


When asked what's the significance about their racing numbers, here are their replies:
April King Mascardo - 46 "Valentino Rossi has been my idol ever since"
Mario Borbon - 26 "It is my birthday"
Enzo Rellosa - 24 "It represents nothing significant"
